Skills Centre – Term 3

July 13 @ 9:00 am - September 18 @ 3:00 pm

13th July – 18th September 2026

Our Skills Centre program at Real Life Skills Support Services is designed to support participants in developing practical life skills, building confidence, and working towards greater independence in a safe, supportive, and engaging environment.

Participants take part in structured, hands-on activities that focus on everyday living skills such as communication, social interaction, teamwork, problem-solving, organisation, and decision-making. The program also supports emotional regulation, resilience building, and confidence in navigating real-life situations.

Each session is guided by experienced and caring support staff who take a person-centred approach, ensuring activities are tailored to individual goals, abilities, and support needs. Participants are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones, celebrate achievements, and develop skills that support independence at home, in the community, and in future pathways such as employment or further education.

Our Skills Centre provides a welcoming and inclusive space where participants can connect with others, build friendships, and gain practical experience in a structured setting.

Whether the goal is to improve daily living skills, build social confidence, or prepare for greater independence, our Skills Centre program supports participants every step of the way.

We’re also excited to share that due to your feedback, we will be offering two Wednesday Skills Centre session times from Term 3!

This gives more people the opportunity to join our Skills Centre and it gives participants more flexibility when attending our Wednesday Skills Centre program.

From Term 3, participants can choose from:

AM Session 9:00AM – 12:00PM

PM Session 12:30- 3:30PM

Or why not do both? 9:00AM – 3:30PM Participants can also choose to attend both sessions for a full day of learning, connection, and skill-building.

Both the AM and PM sessions will run the same way our Skills Centre has always been run. They will be delivered by the same amazing and knowledgeable RLS team, with the same structure, lesson planning, and supportive learning environment.

This means participants can choose to enrol in the session time that works best for them, while still receiving the same quality program and support.
