NDIS Skills Centre
Our NDIS Skills Centre is all about Independence. Our Independence Program provides opportunities, tools, and support that we believe are needed to reach your full potential. We find that learning and developing skills looks different for everyone, which is why we combine practical and theoretical learning in everything we do, to make each step towards independence more engaging, interesting and fun! Our mentors will support you to explore a range of topics designed to build independence, self-esteem and confidence.
Here are just a few of the Life Skill areas you can expect to be covered:
- Domestic/ Household tasks.
- Transport training & road safety.
- Social skills and building healthy relationships.
- Work-ready skills.
- Problem solving skills.
- Meal planning, preparation and healthy living skills.
- Money management.
- Daily hygiene and personal appearance.
NDIS SKILL CLASSES
Classes are capped at a maximum of 12 participants and our classroom facilitators are there to assist every step of the way.
It is recommended that participants attending the program have a companion card and a Go Card for activities that may be completed throughout the program.
CLASS DETAILS
Our program is delivered on Tuesdays and Thursdays over four, 10-week blocks throughout the year. Additional days will be added based on demand.

2024 Class Dates
Term 1 | 22nd January to 28th March
Term 2 | 15th April to 21st June
Term 3 | 8th July to 13th September
Term 4 | 30th September to 13th December
Total cost of our Independence Program is $165.00 for Term 3. Term 4 onwards $170.00.
Our Skills Centre is held at our Head Office based in Maroochydore.
If you are travelling by vehicle, there are designated car parking at the front of the complex.
Alternatively, the closest bus stop is a 4-minute walk away. Our head office facility is accessible to people with all types of mobility aids. Support workers, family members, and/or carers of participants are welcome to come along.
