DESCRIPTION:13th July- 18th September 2026 \nOur Cooking Classes at Real Life Skills Support Services are designed to build confidence\, independence\, and practical life skills in a fun and supportive environment. \nStarting Term 3: Cooking Program Pathway – Certificate II in Hospitality \nFor participants in our Cooking Classes\, this qualification supports the development of practical kitchen skills\, teamwork\, and confidence in a real-world setting \nWe run our Cooking Classes on: \nMonday: 8:30am-11:30am & 12:30pm – 3:30pm \nTuesday: 8:30am-11:30am & 12:30pm – 3:30pm \nFriday: 12:30am-3:30pm \nEach term we introduce a new theme and menu\, giving participants the opportunity to learn a variety of recipes and cooking techniques throughout the year. Participants are encouraged to step outside their comfort zones\, celebrate achievements\, and develop skills that support independence at home\, in the community\, and in future pathways such as employment or further education. \nOur Skills Centre provides a welcoming and inclusive space where participants can connect with others\, build friendships\, and gain practical experience in a structured setting. \nWhether the goal is to improve daily living skills\, build social confidence\, or prepare for greater independence\, our Skills Centre program supports participants every step of the way. \nWe’re also excited to share that due to your feedback\, we will be offering two Wednesday Skills Centre session times from Term 3! \nThis gives more people the opportunity to join our Skills Centre and it gives participants more flexibility when attending our Wednesday Skills Centre program. \nFrom Term 3\, participants can choose from: \nAM Session 9:00AM – 12:00PM \nPM Session 12:30- 3:30PM \nOr why not do both? 9:00AM – 3:30PM Participants can also choose to attend both sessions for a full day of learning\, connection\, and skill-building. \nBoth the AM and PM sessions will run the same way our Skills Centre has always been run.
